Job Description:
As a Human Resources Specialist at Spike Aerospace, you will spearhead the recruitment and initial screening of candidates for engineering roles, ensuring a fit with our high standards and innovative culture. Responsibilities:
- Candidate Sourcing and Recruitment:
- Develop targeted strategies to attract skilled engineers, utilizing job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Manage job postings and recruitment outreach efforts effectively.
- Initial Screening and Interviews:
- Conduct preliminary interviews to evaluate candidates’ qualifications and alignment with role requirements.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to move forward with promising candidates.
- Communication and Candidate Management:
- Act as the primary point of communication for candidates, providing timely responses and updates throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure consistent and clear communication with hiring managers regarding candidate status and recruitment needs.
- Administrative and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities and candidate interactions.
- Ensure all recruitment practices comply with applicable employment laws.
Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Demonstrated experience in HR, with a focus on recruiting technical or engineering staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to effectively manage a remote, part-time schedule.
- Familiarity with HRIS and recruiting software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
