Description
Spike Aerospace is seeking a senior aircraft structural engineer to assist in the structural design, analysis, development, production, and tooling of the Spike S-512 Quiet Supersonic Jet. This role requires working with our senior aircraft design team, and building a team of support engineers to advance our aircraft development.
Responsibilities
- Understanding aircraft design, performance requirements, safety considerations
- Developing, enhancing, analyzing, and improving structural design to support our mission profile
- Working with senior engineering team in support of aircraft development
- Assisting in building, training, and mentoring engineering team and support group
Requirements
- 5-10 years experience in a similar role providing structural design and analysis
- Relevant experience designing and building business jets
- Creative and entrepreneurial mindset
- Quick learner, good listener, good communicator
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and remotely without supervision
- Detailed-oriented qualities are a must
