Derek Gregory April 25, 2014 at 7:08 am - Reply I had the pleasure to meet and talk with the late Tony Benn, who was on the first ever British Concorde Test Flight in 1969, and was one of it’s finest supporters. In fact, as Aviation Minister, literally helping to get the entire project off the ground. Designed in the 50’s, surely it’s now time to get a supersonic passenger aircraft back in the skies?
